1 Mushrooms contains ergothioneine and selenium- two antioxidants which check the free radicals (which are responsible for sparking heart diseases and cancer and also intent to damage the DNA). The common types of mushroom are cremini, Portobello mushroom, button mushroom etc.
2 Mushrooms are the fresh producer of Vitamin-D. As per the studies one cup of cooked mushroom serves 10-15% of our daily need for the nutrients, which boost up healthy teeth and bones. Besides this it strengthen heart and reduces the risk of cancer and other diseases.
3 Mushrooms contains 90% of water which means its almost sodium free thus prevent puffiness and help accentuating our muscles.
4 The copper contents in Mushroom keeps our energy level high, because the copper enhances production of the RBC (red blood cells) which carries oxygen to our brain and muscles, hence giving more energy.
5 Mushrooms are fat free and cholesterol free so go and enjoy without a worry of getting extra fat.
