Friends! It’s been a long time I am writing on different aspects of health, fitness, health conditions and remedies. Today I am sharing some information on one of my favourite vegetable Beetroot. Beetroot is a versatile, tasty vegetable which may be consumed as salad, juice or cooked food, all leading to one or more health benefits.

Though Beetroot has countless benefits on human body, I am trying to share some major benefits of this wonderful vegetable.

Beetroot is a good source of potent antioxidants and nutrients along with minerals like magnesium, sodium, vitamin and Betaine (good for cardiovascular health).

Its regular consumption increases lever functionality and reduces fatty deposits from lever. It eliminates protein deficiency and strengthens Heart by purifying blood and controlling cholesterol level.

Benefits of Beetroot :

1) Beetroot is very good for lever health, thanks to its detoxification properties, which also helps in curing fatty lever.

2) Since Beetroot is a rich source of vitamins and nutrients, it helps in improving immune system. This is recommended for growing kids to benefit their health and growth.

3) Beetroot juice is very effective to prevent heart disease and helps in controlling blood pressure.

4) Ageing: Beetroot juice is very effective in anti-ageing as it help to prevent cell and DNA damage. It smoothens our skin and makes it glow due to presence of active phenolic compound in it.

5) Due to its rich source of antioxidants, betacyanin, Beetroot has cancer fighting properties also (as per some studies).

6) Beetroot has a property to cut excessive fat from the body and hence can be added in daily diet to lose some weight.

Considering the above stated benefits I strongly recommend Beetroot to include in our daily diet, people who are looking for natural options of healthy living may include this wonderful gift from our mother nature in their daily diet.

All the best for a healthy and fit life.
